This is pretty interesting, this color shifter has a circle flame logo on it which represent a basic treasure hunt for the current Hot Wheels basic cars. I know in the past it wasn't that way, but this color shifter is current, so who knows? But either way it doesn't seem to be to rare, it's just interesting for a collector such as myself. However, if it is the case that it is a treasure hunt, maybe there are super treasure hunt color shifters too? That would be awesome. Anyways, I'll do the full post on this color shifter later.
Edit: See the actual post of this car here!
I thought I had something special, I found this same car today
ReplyDeleteYeah it's not a t-hunt, from what I heard this exact car was released some years back when the circle flame logo had no relation to treasure hunts.
DeleteToo bad :(
ReplyDeleteDo they even have treasure hunt color shifters?
I really like these cars I do not know about the color shifter playsets but the cars themselves are amazing. They're really well built and are incredibly sturdy. The color shifting is very obvious as they change colors drastically unlike the older generations of color shifting toys were the color would change from a dark one to a light one. Here you really see the difference.
My son has two of these and you can check em out at Hot Wheels Color Shifters and can also see the process of them changing colors.
Don't think so, not that I am aware of anyways. I agree, the cars are excellent and they hold their colors very well too. It's pretty fun to use an ice cube to draw on the cars too.
DeleteThanks, I just took a look, nicely done!
I just bought one today and im thinking it should be a treasure hunt / error car!
